In January, 1947, the Urban Sales and Service partnership began. Joseph Urban Sr., Joseph Urban Jr., and Charles Robert Urban purchased the company from Earl and Evan Schultz. The company gradually began to receive a fair assortment of vehicles, and Urban Sales really started to flourish around 1947. The year 1980 was quite an important year for Urban Sales and Service. That year, the Dodge Franchise was added. But an even bigger change came with the addition of Craig Sigurdson to its salesman staff. That year, Crag bought twenty-five percent of the company. He later bought the rest of it in 1982. Since then, Urban Sales has achieved high marks in customer service and car sales as well as repeat business. Urban Sales and Service also provides outstanding service to the community. Their Customer Satisfaction Index is a stalwart ninety-eight percent based on a survey done by Chrysler Corporation. They have also garnered many awards for their prominent business conduct. It has won the Distinguished Achievement Award several times for achievement in top sales and service. Urban Sales and Service provides service for families throughout the central Wisconsin area. Craig enjoys serving the people who come into the dealership, saying, “it’s nice to be able to get to know the people who come in, and they get to know me as well. It makes the whole car-buying process more comfortable.” Stop on down to meet with Craig or give him a call at 715.743.3205.
